People always want to know if The Final Step is good for EORs, finals, midterms, or whatever.
I wrote it as a PANRE review for myself.I never even expected to share it until I spoke about it on the podcast a long (now very long) time ago, and the emails came in, begging for it.
It wasn’t designed with anything in mind but the PANRE.I built it for people in my situation, busy moms and dads who were working full time, with kiddos at home demanding their attention, and no time to study for the PANRE.
That’s who I had in mind.I was shocked when I started getting emails from people using it for the PACKRAT and EORs.I had NP and med students emailing me.I never even considered all of that.
Steve Jobs and his team built the iPhone as an iPod that could make phone calls. That was the dream. He even poo-pooed the ability to have the internet in your pocket. He didn’t think it was a big deal.He just wanted a music player that you could call use to call your grandma.
Mr. Jobs and I were both mistaken about what would happen when we released our ideas into the world.Granted, his has a had a little more of a significant impact, but I’ve got my little corner of the world over here.
It’s fun to see.And yes, from what I’ve heard, The Final Step is an exceptional tool for preparing for EORs and whatever else you’ve got coming (Ok, not microbiology, it only covers the PANCE blueprint).
When you order your copy of The Final Step, I always send an email out to make sure you got the digital stuff to work, and that the hard copy arrived. Some people struggle with the digital stuff, and the USPS is… let’s just say not 100% reliable.
I got this email in reply from Nik.

Hey Brian!
I did get access to it [The Final Step]! It was perfect because I had a big heme/onc test on Weds after having 4 other exams and I needed to CRAM (I really do think that’s the worst subject) 😆 I listened to your podcasts and did those review questions [again referring to TFS] and that was literally the only studying I did, and I got an A on my exam! You rule!
Thanks for checking back

* The most important content you need. What happens when they CHANGE the PANCE?How do you know whether new or old treatments will be on the exam?
* The single best thing I’ve started doing over the past six months to help me crank out work (Hint: this will affect every one of you).
*How to get yourself to accomplish the things you NEED to do, even when you don’t WANT to.It’s simple and I use it almost every day.
* How to choose between two really good possibilities.
* Two completely different ways your brain works. You don’t notice now, but once you see the difference, you can start using the only tools you have in the best possible ways.
