When was the last time you…

When was the last time you took a deep breath? Here we go let’s do this together.

Relax your shoulders. Inhale through your nose and fill your lungs up completely. Hold it in for a count of 5. Exhale through your mouth slowly.

For real, put your phone down and do this exercise one time now with me.

You spend too much fo your day bombarded with what’s next. With your phone, with TV, with books and music. Your brain needs some simple rest. Sleep is good, but if you’re in the thick of it, you probably wake up in the middle of the night with your brain still “studying.”

You need to shut it down. It’s unbelievable how much better you can feel after only one deep breath. The good news is that your brain functions better too.

Try it again now. I’ll wait, no hurry….

Feels good, doesn’t it? Your brain needs a rest. Help it out. I’m not even going to talk about meditation, let’s talk about one deep breath every now and again.

If you’d like to learn more about working with that brain of yours and how to get the most of it, you’ll want to check out the Maximize Your Time & Efficiency course. I cover loads of tips and tricks to get you studying better, build your confidence, and save you all kinds of time. But the back to school sale ends tonight! Until midnight tonight, you can get 25% off the course AND the exclusive running tapes. A special bonus made up of seven videos I recorded just for you.
