There are a few people asking “What’s in The Final Step? Is it test questions?”
Nope.
It’s better.I love test questions for solidifying knowledge, but they have two flaws: One – they take too long. Even a minute per question isn’t fast enough to get through enough material. And two – test questions give you answer choices. You remember things better with what’s known as “unprompted recall” — no answer choices.
I put together the questions in The Final Step based on those principles. Quick questions to cover lots of info super quickly, without answer choices. You have to pull the answers from your head. I’ve taken the most important information from each organ system and made it easy to memorize for your exams, EORs, or whatever.
It’s organized by topic at first, and then all of the questions are mixed together randomly. You can study as you go through each topic AND use it right before a big exam. There’s also an audio version so you can listen.I used the audio version as I took long walks while I was getting ready for my exam.
Here are a few questions, so you get the idea:
*Where is disease of the pulmonary valve best heard?
*Define pulsus alternans.
*What is the first line antibiotic for cystitis?
*What is the first line medical treatment for pericarditis?
You get the idea.
