Up on my wall

A few days ago, I was doing my morning reading (I try to read every morning),and I had to stop what I was doing and put my book down. I came across a quote that I was compelled to immediately put up on my wall.

It’s just a sticky note for now, but I’m thinking very hard about having it turned into something more permanent (If you have any ideas on a good way to do that let me know).

Here it is:

“We don’t have time because it’s convenient not to have time, because we don’t want to challenge ourselves.” That one comes from Stefan Sagmeister, whom Wikipedia describes as a New York-based graphic designer, storyteller, and typographer.

There are so many reasons we don’t have time. There’s so much to do and only so many hours in the day. The lists get longer, not shorter, every day.

Believe me I know. You could take a look around my office and see half-finished projects everywhere. The podcast has been languishing, I know.
