Tool #1
One thing I’ve been talking about for years now is focusatwill.com. The service they provide has done more for my productivity than anything else I can think of. They provide background music to help you concentrate and it is mind-altering. I plug in my headphones and get to work; people around me leave, new people come, and I have no idea they’re even there until my headphones come off. An hour goes by without me noticing anything but what I’m working on. I’m in my own space-time warp. You have to try it.
Tool # 2
I’ve also been using this one for years now. You can find it at tripmode.ch. It is an app for Mac only (sorry). It’s limits your data usage when you’re tethered to your phone. When you turn it on, it not only allows you to choose which apps are allowed to pull data, but it also shows you exactly how much data is being used (and by which apps). That way I don’t get a HUGE data usage by an app running in the background on my laptop that I didn’t even know about.
Tool #3
The Final Step. This is the book I wrote when I was studying for my PANRE. It’s just over 1,200 rapid-fire questions designed to make the most important information for passing the PANCE stick in your brain.
That’s it, see you tomorrow. Don’t miss it. It’s a good one.
