I received this email a few days ago. The individual asked me not to mention their name and that’s cool, but I wanted to share it with you.

Hi Brian,
Just wanted to let you know that thanks to listening to your podcasts, using your book the The Final Step, and going to a review course, I was able to pass the PANRE with a higher score than I received on the PANCE.
I am so thankful one of my PA friends told me about your podcasts and book. I have also recommended them to several other PA friends.
THANK YOU for all the time and effort you put into providing these excellent resources. I do intend to continue to use the podcasts as refreshers until I have to do it all over again in ten years.

The point here is to demonstrate to your ever-skeptical eye that what I’m talking about works. You have to put the time, energy and effort in, but it does work. There is a system and a formula that will work for most people (not everyone).
I gave a copy of The Final Step to a friend of mine who is taking her exam soon. She didn’t want it signed, even though I offered 🙁
She asked, “So I just read this, and I’ll do okay?”
My response was “NO; That’s super lazy.” You have to put in the work. That’s kind of the whole point to the book. The title came from the idea that it would be the last thing you do after studying a certain topic. You study cardiology, then you test yourself by going through the cardiology section of The Final Step; then you’d be done with cardiology.
It does not replace review material. It’s designed to be used during the active phase of your studying. Thankfully, you’re following along here and are way ahead of the game as far as knowing about best practices for studying.
You’re so smart.
If you don’t already have one, get your copy here.
