Print is so much more fun than PDF. I love having a print newsletter. I love sending it off to the printer and knowing it’s done!
I love imagining you opening up your mailbox and reading through the issues.
I also like that it keeps twitchy people from getting into PAES. People who are in a hurry all the time going nowhere. I like having PAES members who are patient and plodding. Members who consume, think, and USE what I’ve put into each issue.
Having a bunch of twitchy rabbits with piles of unread PDFs on their laptops does not interest me. I produce what I produce for consumption. I want the ideas to make difference in your success. I want to see you grow and become more, better.
March will mark the three-year anniversary of PAES. 36th issue! Holy smokes. And December was the first time I thought about going to PDF and away from print.
Why? Because the mail was such a disaster. I get it, it was tough, but it was a mess. Every month I have a handful of people who don’t their newsletters, and I resend them, but November, December and early January were a whole new level.
Here’s just one example.

I’ve been eagerly checking my mail for the January issue of PAER Scholars, but sadly it has not yet arrived. I got the November and December issues and tore through them. Naturally, I just wanted to reach out and ask if there was a delay in shipping this month. Can you shed any light on this?
Thank You,
Dan

I’m confident that now everything is better and every member of PAES has the January issue in their hands (and hopefully they’re using it to create some easy cash every month. If you read it and aren’t moving, what’s the hold up?)
But, in the end, even if USPS was still struggling (they never do get all the issues to their destinations), I’d still be doing a print newsletter. I’m considering heading over to FedEx anyway and maybe now’s the time.
Oh, I’m rambling a little here. Ok so… the deadline to get the February 2020 issue is tomorrow. The January issue was all about making some extra cash (in theory, to pay of the rest of the year’s subscription and then some), and February is all about making some extra time.
I don’t often (and when I do it’s only to PAES members) make back issues available, so I’d grab hold of this one tight while you still you can. You could use a few more hours to sleep. I can tell by your eyes.
