One thing we’ve been implementing this week is the dinner list. This is not a new habit, it’s a philosophy. A philosophy of being ahead. A philosophy of bringing peace to our evenings.
When you are ahead with a planned list of what’s for dinner this week, you have peace – rather than four hangry humans eating mozzarella cheese sticks dipped in spaghetti sauce while we try to figure out what’s quickest.
When there’s a plan, it’s already done. You can be flexible and shift things around if things change. You can plug in a pizza night. Heck, you could plug in a mozzarella cheese stick dipping night.
But, by having the plan, you remove the anger and frustration. You remove the stress.
We all eat dinner every night. Sometimes we do it full of stress and anger, and sometimes we do it with peace and calm.
Same task different approach.Different philosophy.
Can I take away a bit of the stress of PA school for you? Can I remove some of the anger and introduce you to some calm and peace? Join us for the December issue of the Physician Assistant Exam Scholars Newsletter. It’s just a few small changes away.
I can see your shoulders relaxing away from your ears and your breathing evening out already.
