Long before COVID-19, I was working out at home. I used to go the gym and wander around in circles.
Do you know what the best part about running is (even if you hate to run)? You walk out the door, you run, you come home.
No planning, no looking at your history, no thought needed. You just run. It’s great.
Now I do follow a simple plan: Short, short, long.
Last week I did:
3 miles, 3 miles, 6 miles.
This week I may try:
4 miles, 4 miles 6 miles.
That’s it. It’s beautiful. Plans you can make with a crayon seem to get finished. Everything else, not so much.
I’m also loving Beach Body programs for the same reason. I flip on the TV and get to work. 30 minutes later, I’m feeling great and I didn’t have to think about it. Even better, I know that in a month I’ll be even better.
The plan is key, the system. Don’t you wish you had that for the PANCE? Well, you do!
The faculty at Rutgers every year (though probably not this year) puts together a live review course for PA students. It’s a five-day course and it is killer (I would know, I’ve been to it).
The cool part is that they record it and make it available to you so you can use that course to get ready for YOUR PANCE. Conveniently for COVID, you can sit in your jammies and walk right through the system, right through the plan. You don’t have to think (too much). You just bring up the first module and boom, you’re on your way. At the end, you go through the test questions and glide through them like a rock star.
Using someone else’s system takes the pressure off.
This beautiful weekend, you can get the Rutgers online PANCE review for 15% off, PLUS you’ll get TWO FANTASTIC bonuses from me.
Bonus #1 – Secrets of the Test
This is it. Everything you wished you knew about the exam. No, this isn’t the stuff you can find on the website. This is the real deal.
I took my PANRE on a Friday morning. The kids were at school, and my wife and I were planning on going out to a really nice lunch to celebrate. I got back home at 11:45 AM and instead of heading out directly to lunch, I asked my wife to give me 15 minutes. I ran down to my office, switched on the camera, and spilled my guts.
If you’re going to be taking the PANCE or the PANRE then you must get Secrets of the Test
Bonus #2 – Issue No 17 of the Physician Assistant Exam Scholars Newsletter
As you are probably already aware, I rarely make back-issues of the PAES Newsletter available, but this issue fit in so darn perfectly with the Rutgers Online PANCE review course that I couldn’t resist. Issue No 17 – Putting the Squeeze on the Hardest Topics in Cardiology has the tantalizing subtitle of “How to Learn Anything and Remember it Forever.” Read this issue and you won’t EVER miss another question on heart murmurs.
Use the code PAER15 at checkout and then send me the receipt. There’s no simpler way to get the scores you want.
(Of course, you can’t just order it, you have to actually use it. But you already knew that.)
PAER15 is an affiliate code, which means by using that code, not only do you get the bonuses and the 15% off, you also help me keep the lights on and keep producing at PAER.
