I got an email from someone who just passed their exam. She wrote something at the end that she wanted me to pass along to you.

Finally another thing I want to point out that should be stressed to people takin PANCE/PANRE is the importance of driving to the test destination before the test date. I did this and discovered that the exit was closed so I needed to find a new route and allow more time to get to my test. If I didn’t go the day before, I would have been a nervous wreck and totally stressed on the day of the test.
And that is all! Thanks again for everything. You totally rock!

It’s so easy to do, but most people won’t do it.
It takes so little effort, but you won’t do it. You think, “Ah, it will be fine.”
And maybe it will, but it might not be.
Finding a new route the day of your exam will cause a good percentage of people to fail.
Sounds ridiculous, but the time and mental energy expended and now the anxiety and stress is certainly enough to push you over the edge on test day. It’s enough to take you from mildly nervous to completely insane and muddled. And that’s exactly what we are trying to avoid.
You’re thinking, “Oh that’s so cliché. Everyone says that. Brian is just repeating all this blah blah blah.”
Don’t listen to me. Listen to your compatriot. Take the drive.
Good Luck!
