That’s how we all wish it worked. Do it once, and never have to do it again. Unfortunately, almost nothing works that way. Things might seem like one-time events, but that’s rarely the case.
You got married. You’re done, right? Nope. It takes almost constant effort and care to maintain.
You mowed the lawn and cut the bushes back. You even watered the flowers, and it looks amazing! Until next week when the weeds start creeping back in.
You studied hematology and even listened to this week’s podcast on leukemia, so you’re good on that stuff, right? Nope. In a week, you won’t know your nose from your elbow if you don’t review it.
The weeds are always trying to creep in. You have to be vigilant. You have to be on guard. It wasn’t my intention when I wrote it, but The Final Step is the perfect book to keep the weeds away. It was designed to be used right before your PANCE or PANRE to lock in what you most need to know. But over the years, I’ve changed my tune a little.
It turns out that it works great to quiz yourself over time on things you’ve been studying to keep the forgetting curve at bay.
Speaking of weeds… After six years, I jumped in and weeded The Final Step.
Over time, it needed it. I pulled out some questions, tweaked others, and added over 800 new questions.
TFS 2.0. comes out on Thursday.
But be sure to snap up your copy. I’m only printing 200 of them. Why?
Weeds.
I’m printing a finite number of books, and then retooling the book again. It might be a little bit before it’s available for sale again after those copies go, so keep your eye on your inbox and be sure to get yours.
When the shelves are empty on this one, they’re empty.
