I hear from community members all the time about the experience question. “How do I get a job that requires experience?” “I can’t get experience if I don’t have any.” It’s a vicious cycle.
Let me tell you that I personally know over 40 PAs who got jobs in competitive surgical fields right out of school. I know one doc out of about 100 that absolute will not train anyone. He’s a spine guy and wants only PAs with previous spine experience. He’s the exception, not the rule.
I know what they’re telling you. I don’t care. What they say and what they do are two different things. I’m sure you’ve seen that in the world before. Realize it happens all the time. You don’t NEED experience to get any job. I know PA students who have gotten jobs right out of school that “require” 4-6 years of experience.
In the November issue of the Physician Assistant Exam Scholars newsletter, I’ll show you how they’ve done it and, more importantly, how you can do it.
Getting a job is the point of all of this right? Let me help you.
