I’m telling you, it’s amazing. It isn’t cheap, but it IS amazing.
Focus@will is a “music service” for getting your work done. On their website, they claim they can extend a period of concentration from the average of 20 minutes up to 100 minutes and I believe them.
I pop my headphones in, crank up focus@will and then instantly my 44-minute timer goes off, and it’s time for a break.
You can certainly find YouTube channels that’ll give you music to study to for free, but it isn’t the same. You know how much I flit back and forth from productivity app to calendar app to text file to blah blah blah. Well I’ve been on focus@will for almost 10 years. Yup. I’ve tried lots of others. I have an Apple Music subscription and I’ve dug through YouTube, but nothing beats focus@will.
Focused work is the key. Bouncing between things makes it take forever and not stick in the long run. You need long periods of focus, and these guys do the best.
Normally, I use it daily. Now, with everyone home and trying to get work done, I’m logging more minutes than ever.
This is an affiliate link. I reached out to them for it since I’d been promoting them anyway.
Check it out. Read though the site. Test it and see what you think.
