Last summer I watched a team of 11-year-olds play baseball like I’ve never seen before. This team walked through the tournament we were playing in winning in the championship game 12-0.
They hit homers, they bunted, they stole, the kids in the outfield repositioned themselves after every pitch. They looked like a pro team. The best I’ve ever seen.
While I was at the game, I texted the guys I coach with to tell them what I was seeing.
One of them responded ,“Great, take notes.”
Another one responded, “They get 50 kids at tryouts. We get 15. Can only work with what you’ve got.”
Do you see the difference?
Let’s learn and get better vs. “It’s not my fault. I’m doing the best I can do.”
It’s so silly. Most people want to play defense rather than get better. Most people choose to protect their egos, their views of reality, rather than grow and get better. Sometimes I’m in that group too. Sometimes I forget. Sometimes I need to be reminded.
My goal isn’t to stay where I am. My goal is to get better. Whether that’s as a dad, a husband, a teacher, a manager of money, a surgical PA, a coach, a teacher or even as a lawn mower. Is what I’m doing the best way? Is there a better, more efficient way?
That’s what MYTE is all about. A better way to be a student. A better way to take tests. Maybe you’ve got it all nailed down. Maybe you don’t need get better, but I doubt it.
MYTE is designed to give you ideas! To grow your world. To help you see that there are many more ways to study and learn than you think.
Maureen sent in a very nice email I’d like to share with you before the sale on MYTE ends tonight.

The MYTE program provided me with the framework I was desperately seeking for my exam preparation. Before I found MYTE, I was spending hours in passive study and felt that I really wasn’t retaining what I needed. Brian’s program focused and maximized my time, making it far more productive. The MYTE program increased my confidence exponentially and most importantly, I PASSED MY PANRE! I really wish I had access to the program when I was in PA school! Brian’s podcasts and the MYTE program were the foundation of my PANRE study plan. Thank you Brian for creating these resources!
