Identify GI answers at a glance

One of the hard things about your exams is separating answers that are really close. You’re going to get asked to tell the difference between Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis. You’re going to get asked to tell the difference between Addison’s and Cushing’s. You’re going to get asked to tell the difference between a Salter Harris type 1 and type 3 fracture.

It sucks, but a chicken can tell the difference between a Salter Harris type 1 and Crohn’s. That’s not that helpful. If you want to be good, you’ve got to separate out the hard stuff.

A chunk of the November issue of The Physician Assistant Exam Scholars Newsletter is dedicated to this very topic. In fact, I walk through GI and tell you precisely what you need to know. We take the entire GI section of the blueprint and get it down to about 1 page of stuff to know.

Will that get you a 100% on your GI test or on the GI section of the PANCE? Absolutely not.

What it will likely do is get you a score high enough to pass. It will also show you how to do this kind of thing for yourself for the other topics you have to study.

Come along and I’ll show you a better way.
