I got an email yesterday from Allie about The Final Step.
I just purchased the Final Step. I may have jumped the gun. I am a first year PA student. I guess from what I was reading that this may help me with my studies, but after looking at the material, I am not sure if its what I need right now? Thoughts?
Allie
She’s probably right. She probably did jump the gun here. Not that it won’t be helpful, but that it’s a little early. The Final Step is helpful for medicine classes, rotations, and your exam.
I offered to refund her order completely.
But what I would recommend for a first year PA-S is the Physical Assistance Exam Scholars Newsletter. ( Man I wish someone had made it for me when I was a wee lost puppy)
It covers different skills and philosophies your going to need as you move through PA school and continue to take exams. It’s great for as your getting ready for the big one, but it will put a PA-S 1 light years ahead of their classmates. Heck, it will make it so you can sleep at night. Get to bed on time and sleep. Can you imagine?
For example This month I’m doing a whole issue on studying that may change your entire approach. If you’re getting ready for your PANRE, it can make a HUGE difference in how you do, but if you’re a first-year student OMG, it can change the next three years of your life.
