I’m not a flosser. (Not the dance, the teeth cleaning thing). I’ve just never done it. I know I should, but I don’t.
I’m starting to realize that as I get older, I like my teeth. I don’t want them to go anywhere. They are really useful to have around. So, after my last trip to the dentist’s office and some gentle cajoling from them, I’m thinking I should start working on this flossing thing.
I’m also starting to see how more and more we ARE the habits we create. We aren’t the people we think we are – rather we are our habits.
Do you sleep? Are you nice? Do you work hard? Do you procrastinate? Are you on time? It doesn’t matter what you THINK about these things. It matters what you DO.
One of my favorite quotes is: “We are what we repeatedly do. Success then is not an act but habit.” That one is usually attributed to Aristotle.
No matter who said it, the message is clear: it’s about your habits.
Perhaps creating the habit of using The Final Step every day for ten minutes might improve your PANCE score?
