Christmas has come and gone in my house. I almost have the decorations away. It’s a been a struggle, but we’re getting there.
Exploding Kittens was one of the big hits. It’s sort of like UNO but funnier. Like really funnier.
At first, my little guy refused to play it. His reason
“Dad, I don’t play games in small boxes.”
Wait, what?
What does that even mean? Eventually, he came around, but it took a little convincing.
I feel the same way when people say “I’m not good at taking tests.” What does that mean? Is that a permanent disability? An inherited trait?
“I’m not good at walking so I’ll just sit here.” What? No that isn’t how it works.
You can get better. You can get much better.
