Everyone struggles with EORs. It’s hard to know what’s coming. It’s hard to study for something that you can’t really get a handle on. The answer is you do it by thinking. You do it by learning techniques for handling any situation rather than dealing only with specific situations.
People ask, “Why is the Scholars Program a monthly membership?” One of the main reasons is because it doesn’t work in one shot. It’s like trying to learn medicine in a day or going to the gym for a weekend and then stopping. You’ll make some progress, but the real change is made over time. The real gains – development of skills, incorporation of philosophies – takes time.
No matter how many books you read about mediation, you have to practice it. The material I share in PAES needs to be observed and practiced for it to be of any value. If I put it all together in one course, you’d think it was great, but you’d probably get 10% of the value.
Passing EORs is no problem if you do it as part of system. If you know how to study, take tests, and remain calm, they are as easy as pie. If you don’t well….
Laura wrote this one in a few weeks ago and I thought it fit in nicely here.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help getting me through PA school. I know that without your podcasts, encouraging emails, and newsletters I would not have been able to get through PA school.
– EORs were a challenge for me, but after subscribing for your newsletter my scores increased significantly! More importantly, I feel prepared for my PANCE and will take everything I have learned from you with me on test day. Thank you for your encouragement for all of us! It means more than you know.

All of that and more is what I share in PAES. This month in particular, we cover a lot of different areas because I opened this one up to the community for their best tips and tricks. In three years, this has been my favorite issue to write. You’ll see why once you have it in your dry, cracked hands.
