As the year closes out, I spend some time reflecting and planning. What worked, what didn’t work, how I should move forward. As part of that process, I’ve been going through some old Jim Rohn audio programs.
I love this guy. If you don’t know him, he was one of the top speakers in the country doing conferences with the likes of Norman Schwartzkoff and Colin Powell.
And one of the lines that jumped out at me was:
“Don’t wish it were easier, wish you were better.” Jim Rohn.
Don’t be mad at the test. Don’t be angry at your professors. Grow. Become more. Become better. Do the work. Growth is the whole point. What fun would it be if it were easy? Do you think Superman has any fun playing in a pickup basketball game?
Wish you were better. Work to get better. Study to get better. Not just at medicine, but at other skills too.
I wrote the January issue of Physician Assistant Exam Scholars to do just that. I’m going to show you some new ideas on skills and some new ideas on test taking that might just make the whole year of 2022 a bit easier.
PA school isn’t going to get easier. If anything, it’s going to get harder. So, you’re going to have to get better. The January issue of Physician Assistant Exam Scholars will help.
When the ball drops, the cart closes, and tomorrow morning I send the January issue to the printer. You only have a few hours to grab this one.
Happy New Year!
