Today is the 4th day of the PAER Christmas in July sale, and I’ve got something special for anyone who’s got a test coming up.
I’ve had a number of people recently reach out to me asking about test taking. People who have struggled to pass the PANCE and people who have never been able to get the scores they know they deserve.
In my experience, PA students who do poorly on exams are often the same people who spend the most time studying. They aren’t slacking off. They aren’t out partying. They are studying. They know the content, but still the test scores aren’t there.
No matter what your professors say, no matter what your classmates say, the problem is almost never content knowledge (sometimes it is). I’d wager that 95% of the problem is either test anxiety or test-taking skills. And a lack of test-taking skills creates test anxiety. One or two bad scores come back, and now we’ve got a downward spiral that all the studying in the world can’t fix.
I see the same thing in baseball. My 10-year-old is in the Little League district tournament. In case you aren’t all that into 10-year-old baseball, this is the road to the Little League World Series. Everyone takes it very seriously. And they have these rules about playing time. You can only bat nine kids in the lineup (we normally bat all 12 kids even though only 9 play in the field at a time). This causes some kids who would normally get to play to have to sit out. Two of the kids on my son’s team clearly can’t handle it. They were good hitters all season, but now they can’t hit a lick.
It doesn’t have a thing to do with their swings. It has everything to do with the fact that they’re not playing the whole game. Their confidence is shot. And if I’ve learned anything from watching baseball, it’s that if you’re not confident you can’t hit.
Well, my friend, the same principle applies to test taking. It is about content knowledge, but it’s also about test-taking skills and confidence.
Today, I’m going to show you how to get both of those. You see, I took the No More Test Anxiety package and rolled it up with my Test-Taking 101 course and made them both available to you at a deep, deep discount.
