“But Brian, what do you do at 4 AM when you only have two or three hours to sleep?”
We all know how important sleep is for brain function. The studies are pretty clear. Losing sleep is the same as going out for a few beers before an exam.
I’ve been there. Heck just this past week we had a big fight with my son on his way up to bed. That set me off and I couldn’t sleep. I had a big day of surgery ahead and I tossed and turned. Then I remembered the technique I’d put into the September 2021 issue of the PAES newsletter, and I was out like a light.
There are loads of tools and techniques for helping you count sheep. I use a white noise machine and a fan. I prefer the temperature set to 68 degrees or below, and I want the room as dark as possible.
I’m no expert on sleep but I know what works for me, and I’ve always got my eyes peeled for new ideas. I know how important sleep is for my mood and productivity, and I have no interest in taking pills before bed.
In the September 2021 issue of PAES, I covered two sleep techniques that will get you off to snoozerville, even on the night before your biggest test.
You can get your hands on that issue of PAES as well as a boat load of other materials to help you sleep like a baby and walk into your exams whistling like it’s a Sunday stroll through the park. All that and more inside the No More Anxiety Package available until Sunday night.
Sleep well.
