Yesterday I released a new podcast, something for your ear buds. Before I release a new show I always go over and check the reviews on iTunes.
PAER is up to 696 reviews on iTunes. HOLY SMOKES. Thank you so much!!!
Then I click on the most recent so I can see what people have wrote. There’s a four star review. Hmm not five lets see whey. They begin by saying how I helped them pass their exam
BUT
– the show is long and drawn out (True – it can be)
– the show is too repetitive (True – I repeat things a ton)
– Next (and my personal favorite part) this person rips comes both guns a blazing on my poor pronunciation. ( I really liked this part .)
“He also can’t pronounce a word with more than three syllables. Just can not do it. At. All. I think he has brain lesion. Not even kidding. It’s pathological.”
Now that’s good stuff right there. A brain lesion, lol. LOVE it.
This is probably a very pleasant nice person, I’m certain of it. When you listen to shows back to back to back you get a much different view of them then I do recording them once every two weeks over the past 7 years.
But here’s the moral of the story despite all of my painful flaws ,this person found the material (and the way I cover it) supremely helpful. Amazing!! I’m thrilled that they passed and that the got so much out of the show!
If you’d like to leave your own review in iTunes it’s a little tricky. Here is the link

On the left click view in iTunes
On the menu in the middle of the page click Ratings and Reviews
Now a little bit down the page is a grey button that says “write a review”
Good or bad. I’ve got thick skin.
