The focus of this community is getting you to pass your exam.We branch out a little, but that’s the focus. There’s definitely a next step that we don’t cover. What do you do when you graduate, and you have to be a PA?
It’s terrifying. Worse than the PANCE by far.At least it was for me. I know how to study.I know how to pass tests. You live in that little world for three years, and you have it down. You know where you sit.You know what to do and what’s expected of you. It’s hard for sure, but you understand the world you’re living in.The one outside is scary. The world where YOU are treating patients. That’s something else entirely.
Ug and don’t get me started not the office and the staff. I still struggle with the fax machine. (do i have to dial 9? or just 1?…)
At PAER we don’t cover ANY of that. Well almost. We touch on it in the Physician Assistant Exam Scholars Newsletter, but it isn’t the focus.
Andrew at Medgeeks.co has taken this daunting transition and made it his focus with their Clinical Greatness program.
Let me explain.
The program includes live online weekly workshops with two internal medicine physicians, who have years of experience teaching students, residents, and PA’s; every training also includes a live Q&A session. This also gives you full access to DynaMed plus with unlimited CME.
What’s even cooler than that. He’s offered to give the winner of our Halloween Giveaway two months for FREE. A nice way to smooth the transition or pick up a few pointers. Even if you aren’t there yet, it might be nice to sit on the discussions and start to see how this works.
He’s also put together a cheat sheet for you that you can find at https://medgeeks.co/medicine-cheat-sheets.
There’s still plenty of time left to share your Lucky URL and boost your odds of winning this $1,100 giveaway and get the Two Bonuses. It ends on Friday night, and the Grand Prize will be announced on Monday!I can’t wait.
