Every year by the end of Thanksgiving weekend, I have my goals set for the following year. It’s something I got from Dan Miller over at 48days.com a few years ago, and it’s such an easy way to get better. The problem is that that’s now already.
I have some things that will go on there, but I haven’t sat down to make them clear plans yet. This week I want to solidify them. Having your goals set up a month before the year starts gives you a head start on reaching them. It gets the ball rolling so that you hit January 1st running.
Like when I sit down to do work and first I need to check the news and my email. Then I need coffee and my chair just right. It takes about 15 minutes to get ready to get some work done. Setting up your goals before December gives you a month to think them through. Acquire resources. Make plans etc.
And if passing a test is on your goal list for 2019, you’re going to want to get your hands on the December issue of the Physician Assistant Exam Review newsletter.
In this month’s issue, I’m going to go over step by step how to go through questions. Picking them apart and giving yourself the best chance of choosing the correct answer. If you’ve ever struggled on test day or wondered what the heck they are asking, then this issue is for you. If there’s a skill I have that looks like a superpower, it’s test taking. That skill alone got me through high school and college. It isn’t hard, but there is a system. I’m going to show you that system.

In early 2019 I’m going to be offering a live suturing workshop. It is going to be limited to no more than 5 spots. Physician Assistant Exam Scholars will, of course, be the first people to find out about it.
