How to win at everything

There’s a simple formula to win. It works every time. It doesn’t matter whether it’s the road to personal future or graduating from PA school.

Ruthlessly accumulate small wins.

It’s that simple. Even if you hit a Grand Slam in the bottom of the ninth of game seven of The World Series, getting to that moment took millions of imperceptible wins. Little tiny win after little tiny win. Hitting that grand slam started with getting your feet on the floor when the alarm goes off and putting in the work.

The kind of wins that no one ever sees. The same goes for dominating PA school (which you CAN do).

Studying an extra 30 minutes each day. Choosing a break that refreshes you rather than drains you .Millions and millions of tiny decisions. Teeny small wins. One foot in front of the other. It’s easy – except only the strong manage to get it done. Only the disciplined.

The PANCE is no different. Teeny tiny wins get you there. Not a herculean effort, but the effort of a mouse over and over and over again as you prepare.

A few days ago, I wrote about a quote from General Patton, one of the most important men in U.S. history.

“The will to win is no more than the will to prepare.”

In the February issue of Physician Assistant Exam Scholars, I’m going to help you prepare. We’re taking about studying in whole new light. I’m going to take your game up, way up and have you thinking about learning and retention like you never have before.

Let’s do it.
