Probably for about forever; you’ve been operating under the equation:
Time spent = Work accomplished
This equation is partially true or rather, might be true, given a specific set of circumstances, but certainly isn’t always true.
I used to work with a nurse who was the Queen of Busy. She’d run around the office with hair on fire. She’d be putting patients in rooms, putting on casts, answering phone calls; at the end of a shift, she’d plop down in a chair, too exhausted to go on.
The doc I worked for and I would exchange eye rolls at this display. No doubt she was a hard worker, but for all her efforts, she didn’t accomplish more than anyone else; it was probably less, actually. She spent a good chunk of her time being busy, spinning her tires.
Sadly, that’s probably exactly what you’re doing. God forbid a time where you aren’t busy. Even for a second.Even if that second is just to look around and make sure you’re still heading in the right direction. Nope, busy, busy, busy.
Well, I’ve got a solution for you.
(Wish I could figure out how to have horns blow at this point)
Maximize Your Time and Efficiency (I’m terrible with names)
MYTE is a course I built on study tips and techniques that will knock your socks off (unless they’re old and have holes in them, those are hard to knock off). In this course, I go over MY way of thinking about learning, and I explain why all of your teachers and classmates get it wrong.
For example. If you are not doing well, what’s EVERYONE’S answer?
“Put in more time.”
That is the worst advice for so many reasons.I point out those reasons inside the course and show you how you can do much better.
If you’re using the “time spent = work accomplished” equation, you will never have enough time.
In almost every single conversation I’ve had with people, whether in school or getting ready for the PANRE, I hear the complaints about not having enough time.
I’ve found a solution to this problem that is going to blow your mind. It’s the equation you should be operating under and I’m going to share it with you inside MYTE.
You can take a look here to see if it’s up your alley:
