5 rules for rotations and 1 recommendation

1) Be very careful when using your phone. Even if you’re looking up relevant material be careful, you will ALWAYS appear rude and disinterested when you have your head down in your phone. Make sure you say something like, “Let me look that up,” or else everyone will just assume you’re on Facebook.

2) Carry index cards. I️ know your phone has all kinds of easy ways to take notes. I️ love Drafts and I’m loving the reworked Notes app on iOS, but, if someone is talking to you and you’re typing away on your phone, it comes across as rude. If it’s something you need to save, take a picture of your card or type it up later.

3) Be early. Being 5 minutes early is easy, and it makes you look like a rock star. If you’re showing up late or not showing up at all, it’s really bad.

4) When asked if you’ve ever done something before never say no and stop there. Say instead “No, but I’d love to try – would you mind showing me how?” You’re there to learn, not to hide.

5) Pack lunch and snacks. You never know when you’re going to have time to eat, let alone buy lunch, and if you don’t eat you get grumpy.

Ok those are five rules. And the recommendation?
